Do you get 1000 hours of cloud recording if you can find 1000 hours of UHD or is there an acual size of the storage capacity. Thanks

I don't think it's limited by UHD or HD and is probably a soft limit. But, a lot of content is available on demand anyway so you're just book marking the file which is either stored on Sky servers or the servers for the original broadcaster. In a lot of cases, it will pull the file directly from the On-demand app such as Discovery+, UKTV etc without loading the actual app... You can tell if it's an actual cloud recording because they'll be a couple of minutes buffer at the start and end of the program. If it goes straight in, it's pulling the file from already available on demand archive.

@cookiemonsteruk I think in 6 months of using Stream, I've only seen the padding two or three times that signify if as an actual cloud recording

It looks more like which programmes allow cloud recording

As i say mine worked on live golf.  So anything live that hasn't been coofined to the vaults of on demand services etc .  would be an example.

I reckon bbc, itv, channel  etc etc are all just directed to the appropriate app but you should get a message if its a cloud recording

Or even redirected to subscription channels when items are added to the playlist?

Live sport on the pay TV channels is certainly an area where the cloud recording works. I've done it a few times on sky sports and TNT Sports and its worked flawalessly. Must say i've been surprised with this working on TNT Sports as i' would have thought they would want the traffic to the replay they put up on Discovery +, but obviously not. Although having that as an option in case somethine goes wrong with the cloud recording is always a bonus.
