Is anyone having problems with their puck failing to start?

About 3 times in the last month I have had to reset my puck and a couple of nights ago it just refused to load the Sky menu or change the TV channel to Sky. After cycling the power 3 times I gave up and just watched Netflix via the TV and the following day it was back to normal.

Has anyone else had this? I'm not exactly impressed with the Streaming Puck as it regularly freezes, drops me out of programs or fails to load. Never had this with any other product.

@Forestwalker How do you have the puck connected to the internet?

One of the key requirements of the service isn't just a fast internet connection it's the strength and stability of the network connection that the puck is getting. Some customers do have issues over WiFi as a result as small fluctuations in the WiFi signal strength ( caused by interference) will cause issues like those you have mentioned.

Not applicable for the install base using Cat.x straight from the router though.

I had a feeling that might be the case. It does seem glitchy, resetting the sound (I have it attached to an Onkyo amp), adverts are umm. interesting.

Hardwired to a Devolo WiFi/network extender.

If it's hardwired have you also disabled the WiFi in the puck's settings? If WiFi is enabled it always tends to try and default over to the WiFi even if you have a valid connection via Ethernet cable.

Have you tried running it over WiFi ? Normally works fine if you have a decent signal ....

There are another 3 in the house are over wi-fi, the TV in the kitchen is 4M (as the crow), away from the hub and that is shocking. I've switch off the microwave etc., still very poor.
