Is anyone NOT having intimitent picture issues with their Sky puck?

Spoken to several people who've 'upgraded' from Sky Q to the newer Sky Stream.

All have had issues of some kind or another,  often resolved by rebooting or even rebuilding the puck.

Don't know anyone who's not had any issues at all.

So question is, is this one of the worst comsumer products ever made.

Or have I and the people I've spoken to just been unlucky?

Thanks

Had both Sky Glass (bedroom) and Sky Stream (lounge) since Jan 2023 here, with lots of 4K HDR Sky Cinema & Sky Atlantic/HBO Max content along with Disney+ etc. Both been rock solid used with a WiFi 6 router and a 63Mb/s connection until last November (Sky Broadband) then a 900Mb/s since then (EE).. A solid broadband connection AND sufficient bandwidth AND a solid WiFi signal without congestion are ALL essential. For whatever reason Sky Stream is less forgiving of a suboptimal broadband and WiFi connection than other similar devices such as Amazon's Fire stick, Apple TV 4K boxes etc.

The forums here generally have people posting who have problems; those who are working fine tend not to post here saying so, which can distort the impression one might have of Sky Stream. This isn't to say I'm discounting your own experience or of others that you've spoken with 😀

Stream has been on release since October 2021: it's reasonably unlikely that it would still be around if it didn't work for anyone.
