I’m waiting for a new remote control how can I use my I phone while I wait

It's says I can use my I phone as a remote control while I wait for a new one but when I go into settings it's just saying error all the time

Hi @Ann140  you can't use your phone as a remote. Im afraid you will need to wait for the remote

A replacement remote normally takes only a few days or so to arrive.

In the meantime, if you have an old Sky Q remote, you can pair that temporarily. Of course, a few button actions will not be the same or some are on a different button.

If you have an LG TV with a 'magic' remote, you can use the LG remote to control your Sky Stream box.

Depending on what TV you have, you may be able to use your tv remote. @Ann140

I suspect that's an inappropriate reference to the remote control functionality of the Sky Go app when used with Sky Q, particularly if you found it through an AI search result.
