Re: I have plugged it in but when I turned tv on - I see my a programme but not an option to set up
That would indicated that either the HDMI cables aren't connected properly or your TV is on the wrong input and you need to change the input source to be the HDMI connection you have plugged it into e.g HDMI 1, HDMI 2 etc.

So that message is from your TV not the Sky puck. So again, check that the HDMI cable is properly connected to the TV and the Sky Puck, check the Sky puck is on as well.

It says no signal. Check the external input or select another input using the input button

Is there a white light on the front of the Stream puck? Also, make sure you are using your TV's remote, not the Sky Stream remote to change the input on your TV.
If the Stream puck is plugged in, connected to the TV via HDMI cable, and has a white light on the front then you need to use your TV's remote control to select the appropriate HDMI socket that you have the puck attached to. Look for a button labelled Source on your remote, or a button that is a square with an arrow pointing to the middle of it. Press this until you see the Sky logo appear on your TV screen, then you can switch to using the Stream puck remote to continue the setup process.
