How to stop Sky Steam lagging the LiveTV Feed video its playing
When you play say ITV1 after a while it starts to lag the video, so stop the video for 5 sconds and start it again while its trying to catch up with the sound and keeps doing it, so what worked for me is, I have to FF the video (times 30) so press play/pause button then press the right button on the ring untill it says times 30 then it should play by itself when its caurt up with the liveTV feed then it stops doing it.
It look like to me its autobuffering the liveTV feed and make it shudder where the video goes out of sync with the sound, you can see that when you FF it, it been a bit buffered, you would not be able Fast Forward the live TV feed otherwise.

Re: How to stop Sky Steam lagging the LiveTV Feed video its playing
Hi @spannernick1 . There was a major issue with the lip sync for a while but it should now be fixed. The temporary solution whilst Sky were finding a solution was to change your audio setting to PCM or passthrough. I found mine worked OK on Dolby Digital plus.
Also, as with any electronic gadget these days a reboot will often resolve issues. To do a reboot/restart go to Settings > System Management > Resets & Updates > Restart device (do not do a factory reset). It takes about 3 minutes to completely reboot. You will have a blank screen for a couple of minutes before the Sky logo appears so don’t worry as this is a normal part of the process.
