How do I use my sky stream remote to control sound output on a JVC soundbar?

On Sky stream setup, my JVC TV model LT-49C870 is not recognized. So I can't use the remote to power TV on/off. Why is this model of JVC not recognised? And can I use the Sky remote to control this TV?

The sound output from above TV is through a JVC sound bar TH-D357B. How do I teach the Sky remote to control the volume on this output?

@Hamstet JVC branded tvs in Europe are actually made by various different manufacturers for the owners of the JVC brand name so it is very difficult for Sky to add every model. If the option of allowing the software to find the code if your JVC model isnt listed doesn't work try the codes for Vestel who make a lot of these sets.
