Home button will not go to home page but only to cinema page

For a while  now the home button will not go to the home page but alwsys back to cinema page (which we don't watch anyway)!! Tried to understand how to reset but do need further advice please. Thankyou!

Very strange, try rebooting the puck to see if it resolves it @MU18

@MU18   Just unplug it from its power source, leave it for a few seconds then plug back in and wait for it to reset.  You also go to Settings (either scroll down the home page or say "settings" in your voice button.  Go to System management, Restart & update, and Restart device.

Thankyou. Will try the voice button because it is impossible to get to settings via the home button as it will not access the home page  to move to settings.

Tried the voice button,. moved on as far as settings and reset but following the SKY logo on screen and picture  back on the home page still not happening and the screen now keeps returning to Netflix Sirens.

@MU18   Ok. Press the 4 & 6 buttons on your remote at the same time and hold for 3 seconds, this will reset your remote, let's see if that sorts it.

Will try that tomorrow as tv turned off for night so I can concentrate on Sudoku!!!!! Thanks for help so far.

@MU18 did you try unplugging the remote and leaving it for a couple of minutes and then plugging it in again as suggested by @Stephen+Mourton 

You could also try pairing your remote again as follows

1. Press 7 and 9 together on your Sky remote for three seconds (This clears the remote of any previous settings)
2. Press 1 and 3 together for three seconds and follow the on-screen instructions.   Note -  If you wanted to set it up in IR mode instead of bluetooth then press 4 and 6 for 3 seconds instead of 1 and 3

Tried resetting the remote using 7 & 9, 1 &3,  several times but the remote is successfully paired and volume works but still not getting home page but now going back to different pages ie. Netflix, Sky max etc but no home page.

Please can I say thankyou to all those who replied and offered help and advice.  I have spent some time going through all the suggestions and tried the suggestions carefully and not sure how but things, hopefully,  seem to be OK now.
