Hi, Just got the sky puk.. why does it turn off when on pause after only ten minutes!
I have the sky puk.. had it for two weeks and already thinking about cancelling! It turns itself off after only 5-10 mins when on pause! Been through all the settings and can't find anything! Please is there a way I can change the settings to stop this from happening.. or even setting it to a hour? If not I'm sending it back.. can't even make a brew!

Re: Hi, Just got the sky puk.. why does it turn off when on pause after only ten minutes!
It's aggressive power saving as mandated by EU & European law that is still valid here.
You can change your Power management and standby settings in the settings menu but it will still go into standby if you leave it unattended and not doing anything for 10 minutes.
If you're watching something, you'll get a prompt after an hour or so and you just need to pick up or move the remote. But it can't be fully disabled.

This can be prevented if the puck detects movement from the remote, in fact an on screen message pops up to ask you to do so. If you are not in the room you will miss this and the puck will go into standby.
To avoid this I attach the remote to the dog. Sorted!
