Having to power cycle the box most times I power it on
Probably 3 out of 4 times I turn it on, it just sits there with a black screen. If I pull pot the mains plug and put it back in again it says Sky for a while the comes on.
Is it just me or are others getting this as well ?

Re: Having to power cycle the box most times I power it on
One cause of this could be as a result of some settings.
Change both your pucks to following recommended settings set in the Sky Stream puck Settings
Turn wifi OFF under Network if connected via ethernet.
Set Network standby mode to ON and Overnight power saving to OFF.
Sky Stream with two pucks (Former Sky Q and Sky+ customer), Sky Ultrafast + using Sky SR203 hub. Sky Protect kit tester.

Re: Having to power cycle the box most times I power it on
@kdp99 This isn't normal and as @lettice said it might be struggling to connect. During the start up process it's likely looking for updates and other maintenance tasks so if it's having trouble connecting that might be why it hangs, and perhaps after X times they give up. That's speculation but seems intuitive.
It sounds like you unplug your Puck or completely power it off. You can do that of course but I would suggest letting it just stay on standby so it can do these maintenance tasks overnight rather than on startup.
Consider liking this post if it was helpful, or mark as an answer if it solved it for you.
Sky Stream customer. Past user of Sky Digital, Sky+, Sky+ HD and Sky Q. 3x pucks. Main TV is an LG OLED with Sonos Beam.

Thanks both for your ideas. I turn the puck of with the remote when not in use, but do not unplug it. I will try what you suggest and report back in a few days.
