If the HayU subscription started with Sky, you have to cancel it this way -
Press Home, then "My Sky" at the bottom of the screen
Select "Your Products"
Enter PIN
There will be an option to cancel it there.
The issue is you have to wait for any remaining time left on the Sky subscription before you can create a new subscription on the website so instead you can do the following -
Create a new account through a browser on your phone or laptop and set up a subscription.
Then once you have that done go into HayU on Sky, sign out of your old account, and sign in to the new account that you just made.

The trouble is even when I manage to cancel i doubt I'll subscribe again until they sort out the flickering screen. 😢

I've paid upfront for yearly subscription after the free time and as soon as I did it now black screen or a pink circle with voices no screen,I feel absolutely conned as a lot of other people are experiencing the same.ive tried switching off and rebooting to no avail

So far anyway, for me it seems to be fixed like @PatriciaNC. It's seemed to have updated once I've refreshed apps.

Highlight settings and press
0, 0, 1 + Select
Select Apps
Select Refresh all Apps

I tried the reset again last night, and this time it seems to have worked - so far. So it might be worth trying again for anyone it didn't work for the first time.

It's kind of working for me but I'm still getting a bit of flickering when scrolling around between episode numbers. 🤔

I have this problem too. I tried changing the tv from 4K to hd but it didn't help. There were other programmes downloading but I have 100gb broadband. I can watch it on my phone and then chromecast to some TVs without the issue of flicker and interruptions although the sound sync isn't good.

And mine's stopped working again. Got a couple of nights and tonight we were back to flickering and black screen. So that didn't last long. I'm back to watching on the firestick, but this is getting insane. It's been over a month now since Sky first said they'd look at it.

Lol! It was bliss watching Below Deck without any issues. It is so weird and I can't understand why the app is like that. Very hit and miss clearly.
Again no official update from Sky just us customers updating each other.
I haven't had an answer from Hayu about a refund yet 🙄 not surprised
