Hi all
just got my puck and connected it to my Samsung smart tv via the hdmi lead.
I want to get rid of the hdmi lead and connect wirelessly however I have no clue as to what settings i need to change -- bearing in mind that "I know norrthing" you might need to explain it to me "as you would a child"

Devices known as HDMI Wireless Video Senders do exist, but are notoriously unreliable and temperamental. You could experiment with them if you wish, but only purchase from somewhere with a good returns policy: no forum user has ever posted about successful use with Sky Stream or Sky Q.
As @MarkGoldsmith indicates, devices such as the Stream puck (and its equivalent from Virgin and BT/EE) are inherently designed for HDMI cable output to screen or projector after wireless delivery of content to the box.

This has happened with Q as well over the years: either a salesperson or customer misunderstands the description of the Sky device as 'wireless'.
