GB NEWS Lyp Sync - May 2026

Hi

Having some serious Lyp Sync issues over the last couple of days just on GB News using the Sky  Stream platform.

I have performed the power off, restarts etc...

It's about 3 seconds out, it' terrible (no puns from people stating that GB News is terrible please, heard them all before).

I remember similiar issues some time back and found a work around by using the youtube app and watching GB News live from there (although this is not ideal if you want to channel skip to another news channel etc).

Could a sky employee take a look at this please?

Regards

Neil

Have also noticed this morning that GB News lip sync is very bad.

Your best bet to get this checked and resolved by Sky is to send an email to the Sky Viewer relations team to report it;
ViewerR@sky.uk
They do respond to emails with any updates for your queries or problems.

Have the same issue here.  Found if you change sound to Audio Track to English AD it catches up.  Such  pain only on ITV

Re: GB NEWS Lyp Sync - May 2026

This definitely appears to be a SkyOS issue.

There are no problems with lip sync on ITV channels or GB News when streamed on Freely or ITVX.

Gb news lip sinc issues then switching off

Every day gb news has lip sync issues then randomly has a black screen, all other channels are ok, seems like this is being done on purpose to stop us watching it.

Tried resetting the puck etc sometimes works for a short time then back to problems.

Will a senior Sky team member please investigate this issue.

Seems alot of posts on social media about this issue too.

Somethings going on that needs sorting out please!!

Not seeing any issues with ITV.

Checked a few others I know that have Sky Stream and Glass and all are seeing the poor lip sync issue with GB News, as am I on my two pucks, but not seeing any issues with ITV or other channels.

To be fair, GB News has been fine until today since that last problem they had some many months back.

As I mentioned above, send an email to the Sky Viewer relations team to report it;
