Force 60Hz output at all times

Hi,

I have just set up two pucks. One happily working with a newer TV. The other one does not. I only get a message "mode not supported" from the TV, which only seems to want 60Hz (it's an older US model). Both pucks work on the other TV.

There seemingly is some option to enable "Judder reduction" for TV apps. But I don't get to the point of opening a TV app. I tried fiddling with the resolution, but can't get across this.

Am I just out of luck with this TV?

Thanks

It sounds like you are out of luck with the TV unfortunately.

Re: Force 60Hz output at all times

Thanks, I guess it's just a matter of the software honoring the limited mode support of the HDMI sink. As a software engineer I would call that a bug, but I guess I won't hold my breath for a fix. Maybe I'll try funneling through a FireTV cube or simply give up.

FWIW, I did manage to hook it up with a splitter and navigate to Netflix and that does switch to 60fps output mode and the TV happily displays that.
