Sadly this is all too common with Sky Stream and Glass. The remotes are poorly mass-manufactured and therefore quality control is low. 

Try giving it a firm twist (as if wringing out a towel) as this can sometimes resurrect them (it did with one of mine) but if it still refuses to work you'll need to ring Sky for a replacement or try filling in the form here:

LOL. Shift the decimal point to the left and it's still less than what it costs to make one! 

I certainly wouldn't pay for one. I'm on my third in just over a year, all free from Sky. The previous two failed for no logical reason.
