Extra sky pucks bought and i cant link my account to them

Hi i have brought 2 extra sky pucks boxes and it's saying it can't link my account its best if you try later can anyone please help

Did you buy the pucks from Sky? Do you have the Whole Home subscription?

@Derek_Trotter @Yes I brought them from sky and I have a sky package it will allow me to set up Internet and the remote volume and it will not let me go further

@Nick41 the Whole Home is an add-on to a Sky Streaming subscription that allows you to have additional pucks, so that you can watch them in different rooms. Without the Whole Home add-on you won't be able to link additional pucks to your account.

I pay £10 a month for whole home system I just looked @Derek_Trotter

@Nick41 - have you tried unplugging these additional pucks for 30 seconds to reboot them. That may help

I haven't no I wanted to ask before I just done that how do u reset hold the button underneath or just unplug it @MarkGoldsmith

First just try the restart, which is unplugging it. This is normally the best option that having to do a reset.

 

If that doesn't work you can do a reset which is this:



1. Turn the puck off at the plug.

2. Turn over the puck and hold down the power/standby button.

3. keep hold of the power button and turn the plug back on.

4. Keeping holding the the power button down until it turns amber and then it should turn green. Then you can let go. 
5. The puck is reset, you'll have to connect to Wi-Fi or whatever you use,  set up the remotes and then you'll get an activation code. 
6. log into the sky activate site and enter the code and that's it.
