Ethernet and wifi

Was thinking of switching to ethernet cable for main TV as the broadband socket is close to the TV. But would that stop me watching on a laptop upstairs via wifi? (ie they are both using wifi at moment - is it poss to have one device on ethernet and the other(s) on wifi?)

You can have multiple devices using both WiFi and ethernet at the same time.

There's no link at all between a Stream puck and an instance of Sky Go running on a mobile device.  Each is an independent network client receiving data from Sky servers.
