Dolby vision picture freezes through hdmi switch

Is eARC not the way to go?

I have my Sky box connected to the TV and use eARC to run the sound from the TV to my AV Amp [in my case a Denon].

I think if there isn't a solution or another switch that will work then either earc or optical will have to be the way
