Do you need the atmos subssciption to get any 5.1 sound ?

I just cannot get 5.1, sound, wondered if you needed to pay the extra money from atmos (I do not), to get any 5.1 sound ?

My Sonos app shows I am getting 5.1 on my soundbar and I have no Atmos subscription.

Thanks, no idea why I got it with Sky+HD and not with Sky stream.

Could I just ask you to check you have the audio output set to PASSTHROUGH on the puck, not DOLBY DIGITAL, or DOLBY DIGITAL+ etc.
