Connecting Sky Stream to Viera TV with Component ports only

Hi, I have a sky stream connection with HDMI output. My panasonic Viera TV does not have HDMI input - It has the 5 port component connection. What is the right connector that will allow me to connect the two devices?

@Parthag  Are those the only inputs?   I feel that using the component inputs may cause an issue with HDCP not being picked up, which could mean no picture from the puck or an error message on your TV.

What is the Model of your TV?

Re: Connecting Sky Stream to Viera TV with Component ports only

The component inputs are analogue and won't have anything to do with Hdmi copy protection.

The box or cable that you would use to convert the signal has to be compatible, the product I posted a link to does not mention if it is compatible with hdcp, it does say it is hdmi 2.0 complaint of which copy protection is a part of.

So if you don't want to replace the TV, it's worth trying, send it back if it doesn't work.

I would imagine that the puck would either not work at all, or it may display an error, that being said you may find a converter that supports copy protection.
