Hi, so i'm new to sky. never had it before and purchased a tv package for myself and my parents. Downloaded the sky go app as was recommended. I only purchased the entertainment package and the cinema package via sky stream. However, in my sky go app there are the sports channels and the kids channels, and when clicked on, these channels play even though i have not purchased them. I do not intend on using them, but if my older parents accidentally click on the wrong channels, will i be charged for them? i don't want to get an unexpected bill because they've accidentally been watching the wrong channels. is there a way i can remove these channels from the app so that they can't be played accidentally? thank you

Is your Sky Stream puck activated and in use? Sky always give you full access to all content via Sky Go immediately after you place your order, even the channels you haven't ordered. This is to entice you into subscribing to more channel packages. Once you activate your Stream puck(s) however, your subscription should revert to the actual channel package you ordered and pay for.

Playback should not be possible if your not subscribed to the channels. Your order email or my Sky will confirm all the packs you have subscribed too. You can cancel these from within the my Sky app or by calling Sky. However you usually have to give 31 days notice.

my app shows only the cinema and entertainment i think? i can't attach a photo of it but it lists "sky cinema, sky ultimate TV - sky entertainment with netflix, whole home, sky live pack, sky glass pack" it doesn't mention sport or kids anywhere

By "new to Sky" do you mean brand new, i.e. have you received and activated your Sky Stream box yet? I remember that before I activated my box, I had access to channels outside of my subscription package via Sky Go, in the way you describe.

Once your pucks arrive and are activated then you will lose access to the non subscribed channels as stated by @Ellie_TV
