Can sky stream puck remote control , operate Bose sound bar for volume, currently we have TV set on surround sound so have to use Bose remote for volume on TV

Did you ever get a reply from SKY regarding this. I have a Bose 500 SB and cannot get the Sky remote to change the volume.

If you have your Bose 500 Soundbar connected to the TV via HDMI ARC and you have CEC control turned on then you should be able to control the volume of it by pairing your Sky Stream remote to the make/model of your TV, rather than the Bose.

Many thanks for your input. I now have control of my TV and Bose Sound Bar through my SKY Remote. I could not find the CRC option on my Sony Bravia TV but found that is was set to my audia device output (Bose 500) wich was the only way it would work when using my old service provider. Set the Sony TV back to TV ouput and it all works seamlessly. Happy days
