Can i upgrade to sky stream even if i am under contract sky q

I am under contract with sky q satilite but I want to upgrade to sky stream hiw do I do that please

FYI moving from Q to Stream isn't necessarily an upgrade. The streaming platform is completely different to the satellite based platform and whilst some customers ( myself included) preferred the switch from satellite to streaming, not all customers do so you need to make sure you research to understand the differences between the 2 platforms.

To switch over from Q you will need to give Sky a call.

Ok thanks, I'm worried I would need to pay fees if I am still under contract to move to sky stream and if I can still have sky sports etc.

@Marmalades  You are switching products not cancelling so there are no penalties applied 

you have to choose your chosen package from scratch so you can add sky sports as part of that process

If you  move  to sky stream with  a puck, sky glass tv or sky glass air tv, bear in mind  that as soon as you activate  the stream and your  new subscription pack that you picked to go with it, the first  month  that your  payment  is due you will have 2 bills to pay that day the first stream payment and your  last sky q subscription  payment  and you will  have to send all your  sky equipment  back  with  in 30 days, you  can not have both subscriptions

Also you will lose  all your  recording  on your  sky q equipment  as soon as you activate  the  sky stream, they will  not  transfer  over from sky q to sky stream
