Sky Stream puck
TV - Samsung UE43AU9000
Soundbar - Samsung HW-S60A
I've recently changed from Sky Q to Sky Stream and am having some trouble with my soundbar. Previously this was working perfectly with Sky Q - when I turned Sky Q on the TV and soundbar powered on and played the Sky audio.
Now, the Sky Stream puck is connected to TV via HDMI and the TV is connected to Soundbar via HDMI ARC. The only change is the source (puck) connected to the TV.
Now when I turn on the puck the TV and Soundbar turn on, but the puck sound is not being played throught the Soundbar. If I cycle through the sources on the soundbar then the sound does eventually come through.
Any advice would be gratefully received, I appreciate going from Sky Q to Sky Stream might be considered a downgrade but its frustrating that something that just worked now doesn't!

Thank you both for your help.
@Fothergill1 my puck and TV were both set Auto but this didn't work for me.
@Smiler75 I tried pass-through on the puck but this didn't work either.
I have now set the puck output to PCM Stereo and the TV output to PCM and it is working so far. I'll try some more combinations but happy for now!

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@red.twenty I have a similar setup to you and have no audio problems at all:
Stream puck
Samsung S90C TV
Samsung HW-Q600CXU Q-Symphony soundbar
My connections are Puck to TV with the supplied HDMI.
TV to Soundbar with a HDMI 2.1 cable from eArc.
My puck audio setting is Digital Audio output HDMI = Auto (audio delay = 0ms)
Basic audio settings on TV are:
Sound Output = TV & Soundbar (the TV because of the Q symphony)
Sound mode = Surround
Expert Settings are:
HDMI-eARC mode = Auto
Digital output audio format = Auto
As you will see I have a lot of the settings as Auto but mainly because I don't want to be adjusting audio all the time for different programmes.
I hope this helps 🤞

I am having same issue - needs to be on pass through in order to eliminate sync issues...
...but if the audio format changes between shows or channels, it seems that the soundbar gets confused, unless I switch sources. Once I switch back to arc input everything is ok again.
Any help is appreciated!
