If you have Amazon prime take a look at the Liverpool stream compared to any TNT channel on Sky now. Amazon looks like 4k compared to standard on sky yet both claim to be HD. Also the Aston Villa stream earlier buffered constantly. I'm leaving Sky because of the utterly useless quality of stream so I don't care why this is. I'll have the BT app next month and the garbage Sky stream quality will be a thing of the past. Check it out, it's fact,, despite exorbitant charges, Sky Stream lacks quality, full stop.

Not all matches on TNT sports are in UHD unless English Clubs are playing at home then they are in UHD @BKW52

Dear Super User, I suggest you read my post slowly to take in what was said. I'm not saying it should be in UHD. It says it is in HD but is less than SD and when compared to the Amazon Prime stream (hypothetical, grab a dictionary) it's like watching 4k vs a poor SD. I really don't want a 'superuser' response please, if ever there was a misnomer in a community, Sky nails it with its 'super users'🤣🤣.

I watched the Liverpool game on both the Stream and my new LG C4's apps. Neither was perfect so I'm pointing the finger at Prime

I really give up, what is the point of commentary here. Sky, I'm leaving regardless, the calibre of your community is commensurate with your streaming service: unbelievable.

Good luck with what ever TV platform you decide to take. Personally I think the quality on Sky Stream is great but that's just my opinion.

Sorry but I can reply to any post regardless if you like it or not as long as I obey the community rules
Which BT app are you waffling on about.
I have My BT app and you ain't going to watch Champions League in glorious UHD/HDR via that @BKW52 🤣🤣
TNT Sports is the new BT app obviously you didn't get the memo

@BKW52 TNT weren't carrying any games in UHD last night, they good ol' HD.
I watched the Liverpool game last night and that was definitely in UHD HDR on Prime and looked absolutely fantastic.
The issue with TNT wasn't Sky Stream related it was purely down to what TNT were pushing out.

Find out more@BKW52 Watched ManCity v Inter both HD and UHD coverage via Firetvstick 4K TNT Sports via Discovery+ also watched the same matches via Zfold 3 that's TNT Sports 1 and TNT Ultimate Sports brilliant PQ no different than the Liverpool match via Amazon Prime Still same result regardless of the format🤣

Thanks, great response. That makes sense, wonder why they don't promote as UHD as it was a beautiful picture and zero buffering for whole game. And it shows it's technically possible and Sky/TNT simply don't have the IT infrastructure to deliver/won't invest to do so. Anyway, thanks for a constructive response, really appreciated.

@BKW52 Sky do have the infrastructure and demostrate this with multiple sports being available in UHD on the Sky Sports channels. TNT is a different kettle of fish though because right from the BT Sport days, they've only had a single UHD channel which is TNT Sport Ultimate. Technically they could make more available via the Red Button, Sky EPG or Discovery+ but they choose not to.

Thanks again. I've had the BT app in past and it was definitely a better stream overall. But, yes, it was HD, as you say, mostly. Anyway, guess I'll find out soon. Once again, thanks for being helpful , literally the first time I've had that on this forum. 👍

No worries. I used to subscribe to TNT on Sky Stream and the picture quality was excellent especially on Ultimate but I cancelled it because I wasn't watching it enough to justify the cost. I do watch Sky Sports a lot though, especially for F1 and that looks stunning in UHD but so does the football.
Quite often Sky will have a couple of games on Main Event UHD and via the Red Button from Sky Sports Football plus F1 UHD so they do push out multiple UHD feeds.
