@Jimbo007 Unfortunately if you are watching live TV and you put it on pause it will automatically go into standby after a short while. At a guess it is about 5 or 6 minutes but it is much longer if watching catchup TV.
To get around this if I am likely to be away from the paused TV for longer than 5 minutes I simply rewind it about 10 minutes or so and then leave it playing. When I get back I can then FF or RW as necessary to get back to the point I stopped watching.
