Adding an individual show to my playlist

I've recently started with Sky Stream., so getting my head around the difference between that and Q.

I get you can add "shows" to a playlist (it doesnt record like Q), but can i add an individual show, not a series.

I tried to add Johnny Marr (Great song writers series), and it seemed to "save" a link to the entire set (around 6 series), i then had to flick through all of them to find the Johnny Marr one, i wasnt interested in the others.

Am i missing something or is this currently the future?

This is the future I'm afraid. 

The playlist is merely a link to all available episodes of a single show, based on its title and the logged metadata associated with it. There is no way to just select and 'keep' a single episode with Sky Stream, or any other streaming service AFAIK at the moment.

Very often there is no point in adding a show to a playlist because it might be available on demand. In this case just typing his name would have taken you to that show.

It usually a good idea to check the apps before adding to playlists.

This is a real drawback with sky stream.   It's a real pain trawling through hundreds of episodes of Midsomer Murders Vera and Endeavour.   Come on Sky sort this out or you will lose a lot of us oldies!!!
