Since leaving sky my previously purchased movies have disappeared. As this is one of the main reasons I left due to awful customer service regarding a purchase I would like this cleared up.

Probably worth trying a livechat with the Skystore team here and asking if they can change your account to a Skystore only account. This may depend on how long it was since you left

I may be wrong but from the tone of your email you might be thinking you're talking to Sky on here - but you are actually chatting to other Sky customers. Hope you get it resolved

Find out moreYou will not be able to view your purchases via your Sky box anymore but can do so via other options like apps built into TVs, the Sky Store website, the Sky Store app on mobiles and tabl;ets but as @mike+simmonds has said you will need to contact the Sky Store team if they don't appear via the app so they can change your account to a Sky Store only one.

Hi. Did you ever resolve this? I'm currently in the same position. Left Sky last month Having made around 30 purchases of movies and TV shows now I only have access to 3. Any ideas?

Find out moreYou need to fllow the advice given by @mike+simmonds in his post above and contact the Sky Store support team as they will need to change you account to a Sky Store only one which should then allow you to access your purchases on the Sky Store website or mobile apps on phones and tablets.

While that is correct based on previous posts it is more likely that the account needs changing to a Sky Store only one as it isn't possible to access purchases via a Sky box when someone has cancelled their account.

Thanks for the help everyone. I have gotten rid of my sky box. This is me trying to access the content via a sky app on my TV. I will contact Sky and ask them to create another account

That isn't what they need to do @Gmlordjack , they need to change the account you had to a Sky Store only one.

In that case, never should have been sold and purchasee is entitled to a refund.
digital purchases clearly have a defined sell by date, I would counter that providers in no way shape or form give a definitive answer in any t&cs.

The customer will still be able to access their purchases as all they needed to have done is what we posted here last year and that is to ask Sky to change their account to a Sky Store only one and it will be problem solved.
