Hi @Normski222  Could you uninstall the app and then re-download it. See if this works for you.

Thanks

It's an old ipad.  The software is showing as up-to-date on Ios 9.3.6

@Normski222  as long as its on iOs 8.0 or above it should be fine.

Have you followed the troubleshooting on Sky Help for this, I'll link it below for you.

I'm having exactly the same problem, I've tried everything and still can't get it to open.  Same as you old iPad & same iOS. Was fine till update on the 25th. Have you sorted yours out yet?.

Afraid I haven't sorted it out. I'm using my husbands iPad which is newer and it's working fine on it. If you solve the problem please let me know. Thanks Norma

I will do, it's obviously something they have done with the update as worked fine before.

Same issue here. We have two old iPads both running iOS 9.3.5. I've deleted and re-downloaded the app but it has no effect. One thing to note though is when you re-download the app it says that the latest version of the app won't work on iOS 9.3.5, and it gives the option to download an older version of the SkyStore App. It does feel like the problem has been caused by the SkyStore app being updated but not supporting older iOS, at the same time as stopping the old app working.

Totally agree, I don't have the option to download an old version so I guess I won't be using it as I'm not going to get rid of a perfectly working iPad.

Hi.  I'm looking for a solution too.  The app has suddenly stopped working on my 3rd Generation ipad running the only software available, ios 9.3.5.  I have reset it twice, full restore as in setting up as New, but keep getting a strange error "Sorry, a tech error occured. Please note this app is not supported on jailbroken devices. Error code: 7". My device is not jailbroken and never has been. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, after emailing sky they replied saying sky store doesn't work on anything less than ios10 😢 I wish I hadn't updated now. There are a few others that have done the same so time to upgrade, although my iPad mini was still pristine..
