Bought No Time to Die tonight and it was painfully slow (not the movie, the download 😉). 3% in 20 minutes. So I gave up on it and bought it on Amazon Prime instead which worked fine.
Anyone ever managed to get a refund out of Sky for a situation like this?

All you can do is to contact Sky Store support, live chat starts at 11am:
https://www.skystore.com/help/contact-us
I think that only applies to rentals ordered via a Sky box.

- I would run this test to see if it reveals whats wrong with your broadband - Broadband check | Sky.com
- Report it to Sky and discuss a credit

I'm sure you only get charged when you start viewing the movie, not when you start downloading.

Ah okay, didn't realise it was buy and keep. Anyways it was probably cheaper via Amazon and better quality too as it'd have been proper HDR not HLG.

Re: What chance a refund on a movie thanks to absymal slow download?
@TechmanagerMal will have a look at that but pretty sure there's nothing wrong with my broadband. Steam downloads on ethernet at ~33Mb (still deeply annoyed our local fttp provider reneged on my 1Gb order)
5 node wifi mesh. Closest one 3m from the skyQ box in the same room. -56dB signal strength.
Usually works fine but recently sky downloads have been slow at times.
Prime Video playback was absolutely fine and started instantly.
