What do you mean by volume not working? Is the film totally silent? Are you getting audio from other sources?

Which film is it? 
If you have rented from Sky Store then you need to get in touch with them via the website to ask about refunds.

as @SlenderRobert says - for a refund a livechat with the Skystore team is the best option. They are open till 7.30pm on this link

'no volume' though is not something I've heard of other than where a customer's audio settings need adjusting.

Try going to your sky audio settings (for example on Sky Q / settings / setup / audio visual) and try changing hdmi audio to Normal

I did contact Sky ( website. and phone) I have not received a reply nor was I able to speak to an agent.

Did you try the live chat as the best time to get on it is about 10.57am just before it opens at 11am. Failing that try again when you can and leave the window open if you can as sooner or later you will be able to chat to someone.
