I recently upgraded to the full uhd pack get Netflix and normal sky in 4k but when I go to sky store only says HD digital is this like sky's use of hlg when it says HDR but only Netflix and my Xbox use HDR watched the penguin says uhd HDR but comes through in hlg(hybrid log gamma) is this another thing like that or something not right all my options are set to uhd 2160p yet films on sky store even the ones as I checked that say 4k restoration in brackets that I googled to make sure the title should be available in uhd but none say it says hd digital to buy hd to rent the digital in assuming to stand for it being a digital copy just so it's clear what the issue is and to save time that done all the obvious things everything else is fine and nothing to do with the TV itself just wondering if anyone else found this and did they resolve it and I'd it something that should just call customer services is a lot online but can start reading and isn't clear until mentioned that most posts are about sky Q so wondering any others with a puck and same problem (won't get started on the lip sync if you try to Bluetooth it save that headache for another day lol

It might be that the film you're trying to buy or rent is only being made available in HD for purchase or rental. What are you trying to watch from Sky Store?

HLG is one of the HDR standards along with HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision😉
Just because a movie is available in UHD doesn't mean it is available in UHD on Sky Store🤔

UHD still isn't available on Sky Store purchases at all , the HD digital prices are the same as UHD HDR/Dolby Vision prices on Amazon and Apple TV

A 4K restoration just means that the original film has been rescanned/remastered to 4K and the digital file has been taken from that for retail as a HD film. It doesn't mean that you're buying a 4K/UHD version of the film

missing the point name one film you've found in sky store that is in 4K that's what I'm getting at there is none but that I'm having any trouble I called sky and asked them last in the phone couldn't find a single one either if anyone can name a film that is on sky store to buy or rent in uhd(4k) would like to know as I and sky customer services haven't found one yet and I do know the digital refers to it but being a physical copy just so it's clear I'm not stuck and have a good knowledge of tech in just trying to see if anyone has found a movie on sky store just there not Netflix normal sky TV it sky cinema just the sky store where you can buy and rent have a look have searched Google for movies in 4k that should be there but aren't same as sky put HDR on their content but use hlg yet Netflix is still in HDR so no problem to solve just that sky store contains no uhd films to buy or rent as there's a lot of them thought I'd see if anyone had found one of can find one and no stupid answers like it's restored in 4k but not sold in it was only an example as I had to put one wouldn't of matters what film I picked could of been called 4k's adventures in alphabet land in 4k the 4k special edition and someone would of said something daft like that

As previously explained HLG is HDR😉

That's a nice little rant but as @Exiled-in-HH pointed out, HLG is a HDR format.
The other formats are:
HDR10
HDR10+
HLG
Dolby Vision
HDR10 is the industry standard. HDR10+ is also an industry standard.
HLG is free of licensing fees for hardware manufacturers but not all choose to use it.
Dolby Vision is widely supported by manufacturers have to pay a licensing fee.
Sky use HLG as their HDR format of choice and if you're TV doesn't support this format, then you won't be able to buy the UHD (4K) version of a film.
Netflix use HDR10 & Dolby Vision.
AppleTV is HDR10 & Dolby Vision
Prime use HDR10, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.
