Sky store rentals wont play on box

why cant I  download  from sky store and can't watch it on my xsky box.

unfortunately, although with a buy and keep movie - they are interchangeable between online and a Sky box, with rentals you can only watch on the format you rent it from 

so - Sky box rentals on your Sky box 

online rentals online 

if you have for example, an LG TV or a Chromecast you can normally use these to view a rental on your TV  (just not through your Sky box )

Did you rent the film via your Sky box and if you did what is happening when you try to watch it ?

Hi I was trying to rent the film through my phone and was wanting to send to my sky box.

It isn't possible to do that @Caroldilworth because if you rent it on your phone then you have to watch it on your phone as you can not send it to your box. Only Buy and Keep films can be sent to your box.

To watch it via your box you will have to rent it via your box and this will mean paying for it again.
