Sky store purchase not able to download to ipad

I have just purchased a film on sky store to watch offline when on holiday. I can see purchase and download but on recordings , it does give me option to download. Says the size of file? Tried iPhone 16, iPad Pro, iPad and all the same. Enough storage, cleared cache, latest iOS, archived, on/off and still the same. Not sure what else to do? Any help appreciated

Just checking, are you using the Skystore IOS app (rather than the Sky Go app ) ?

I've got both. I can see them both. When I go into sky store - download - it just says download options HD 5.32gb

I can't see your photo yet but I assume you've posted a pic of the download 5.xx GB

Rather than click it briefly , try leaving your finger on the word Download for about 3 seconds, then remove your finger

I've been trying mine @Steve+Haycocks and at first I'm experiencing the same as you on my iPhone 14. For me, if I press briefly on the word  ⬇️ Download (in blue)

that then brings up a second box with the word Download (in yellow) and the size of the file (in blue)

if I persevere a few times clicking on the file size box, after 3/4/5 attempts, it works. 

so I think it's the system rather than anything you are doing wrong. Try persevering doing the same press on the blue file size box. 

Edit: it works better for me if I click on the left hand side of the blue file size box

I found that by tapping download TWICE quickly and then the small pop up box with Gb info also twice quickly it starts the download, this might help.

I am having same issue. Tried all what has been said to try no download. It seems like it has frozen. It just shows down load progress ring and % 0
