Sky Store will not let me update my payment details .

I'm trying to buy a movie I have rewards to use but need to put some money towards it . 

Every time I check out it shows that my card has expired I then go it to my account and put my new details in to amend it and it keeps saying error please update your e wallet even though I have !! Frustrated and that department is now closed . I would be very grateful for some help

As the forum is "customers helping customers" none of us will be able to actually look at your account

then going to your payment detail and trying to submit your new card ?

Might be worth trying a different browser or a different device. Or if you have one - a different payment card. 

Other than that I fear you will need to wait for a livechat from 11am tomorrow

I think you are going to have to use the live chat tomorrow @Em+G as somebody else reported the same issue as you on here a few days ago so this appears to be something that only the Sky Store support team can help you with.

Okay so I cleared all of my browser history , tried different devices to no avail . 

I went to the online chat at 11am this morning they eventually said I must have tried to much and my bank must have blocked it . 30 mins on the ohone to Barclays bank .. the fraud team said its definitely not them . Back to a chat with sky store theybtried other things and then blamed the bank again. 

They did apologise and gave me £10 on my account but I still have this problem of not being able to update my bank details . So it looks like I'm buying DVDS from now on  .

That all sounds frustrating @Em+G 

I guess though that with the extra £10 you may have enough credit for a buy to keep movie which you can send to your Sky box (I'm assuming you have one - maybe you don't)

If you do - there is then always the option to buy / rent from your Sky box when the cost will be added to your monthly bill.

I am having the same issue, I spoke to a couple of advisors, live help and tech team, basically it's an error on skys part and they have no idea when it will be fixed. This is very frustrating as I just got sky glass and can't order anything, my daughter is gutted we can't get sing 2. Was basically told, just keep trying! 🤷🏻‍♂️

If it's a problem at the Sky end - not much I can offer other than to mention - on Glass - don't you have access to Amazon / Apple ? 

could you rent Sing 2 from one of those ?

Hi, thanks for the reply.

I don't have Apple TV or Amazon, my parents have Amazon so I may log in to their account and get it that way, thanks for the suggestion.
It's very frustrating, apparently the issue is if the card that is linked to the sky glass bill that takes the monthly direct debit is the same one you are using to purchase via sky store it won't accept it, although I did try another card and it never worked either.

So I thought I'd give an update on this, after about a month of getting no where and back and forth with Sky I believe I have finally worked out a solution by myself. In order to add my bank card, I went to the sky store and purchased a movie on there, it then allowed me to go on to my sky store via my sky glass and there it was in my library available to watch, it has also stored my bank card info on sky store for future purchases, so now i believe I can make purchases on sky store via sky glass. Hallelujah!!
