Rented a Film and still have not got it in SKY Q - even when Sky over phone say they added it

I rented Jason Statham Shelter film for £4.99 on May 4th 5.10pm.  It shows £4.99 paid on my bank account.

It never got to my SKY Q box.  Rang Sky one night , they could not find issue.

Rang Sky two days later, they could not fix issue but said they would add it as I was VIP.

Still not on my SKY Q box

As you paid for it on your bank account, that suggests you rented it on a non- Sky Q device. Eg your phone or tablet. 

with a rental, that means you can only view it on such a device and not directly on Sky Q 

 

(if you happen to have an LG TV with Webos 3 then you should be able to view it on the built in Skystore app. )

 

Otherwise the rule is - to view on SkyQ, you need to rent it on Sky Q 

 

I've never heard of a rental being added. 

my suggestion is to ask Skystore to cancel and refund the online rental. Then re rent it directly on your Sky Q box.

 

I notice in your post you mention May 4th. To the best of my knowledge knowledge your option to start viewing a rental expires after 7 days. That could also be a factor.
