I was away from home earlier today and thought I'd rent mission impossible dead reckoning on the sky store app on my android phone and then watch it on my sky q box when i got home.
But when I got home the movie isn't available under purchases on sky store on my sky q box and when I go to the sky store on my phone and try to stream it to my tv it comes up with an error message.
Anyone having this issue or know a resolution?

Hi @WeeManMike
Unfortunately - rentals made on a device can't be transferred to a Sky Q box
It's only buy and keep movies which can be "sent to box"
If you happen to have a recent Lg TV - you can use the built in Skystore app to view on your TV
You could also connect from a laptop or PC to your TV via HDMI. Roku works also.
In terms of a solution the best I can think is to explain to the Skystore team what has happened and see if they will offer you some goodwill. Livechat opens next at 11am tomorrow
you might get through by phone but I'm not sure what time the lines close on a Sunday.
hope that is some help

Re: Rented Mission impossible dead reckoning on sky app not showing on sky box
This comes up on here a lot so the answer is always the same.
You can not rent a film on your phone and watch it back via your Sky box as you can only do this with Buy and Keep films and not rented ones like this one so you will either have to watch it on your phone or contact Sky support to see if they will cancel it for you to then allow you to order it again via your box.
They have a live chat you can use that is available from 11am-7.30pm Monday to Saturday and can be found here:
