Rental was so slow to download never got to finish despite having 140Mbps internet.

Hi,

Family all came round to enjoy Jurassic park latest. even though an expensive rental, not even to keep,

paid for rental, downloading ... oddly was 20 minutes before said ready to play.

 

Half way through it stopped saying need to wait for more to download, 

20 minutes later, still stopped.

Realizing it was not going to get the whole film thats night gave up.

Unable to watch the follwing day & no point as family could not be with us which was the whole point.

 

So a wasted & very spoilt evening.

 

My internet is not Sky but is plugged in directly via ethernet

I get 140mbps any time of day, rock solid business BB.

My firestick that was in the same TV & using WiFi records speeds of 95Mbps at exactly the same time as well as any phones we tested the internet speed on.

 

I always promised myself I would never rent from Sky when paying £80 per month no way was I going to give them anymore money even for something that is new, would rather give Netflix or Prime my hard earned & in fact are my "go to" for most things now anyway as Sky is just so rubbing & at a fraction of the price

 

Can't face the usual hours waiting on the phone, perhaps better now but know I won't get any resolution from them anyway & in the past just lost the will..

 

Why is there no Sky chat??
