Refund on rubbish movie

Just purchase cosmic sin based on the 4.5 star rating taken from audience score on rotten tomato. Film was really bad and when you look on rotten tomato audience score it says 83% but nearly all the reviews are 1 star. Based on this how do I get a refund?

I doubt very much if you will be offered a refund just because you didn't like the film however you are free to try:

@caesarome has given the best reply - but just wanted to add - you have come across the (strange) Rotten Tomatoes "audience approval" score 

These are supposed to be validated in some way - but you have to wonder 🤔🤔

Christy Lemire  of RogerEbert.com  gave the film a negative review and wrote, "To suggest that Bruce Willis is phoning in his performance in Cosmic Sin would be an insult to telephone communication, which can be an effective means of conveying important information and genuine emotion."

IMO It's hard to conclude these audience ratings are anything other than manipulated to encourage people to watch

If anyone reading this wasn't sure, I should have clarified that the Rotten Tomatoes audience rating for Cosmic Sin was 4.5 stars out of 5  (rounded up from 83%) 

This was an audience rating 11% higher than (for example) Shape of Water

From this - I have learned never to make a judgement on a movie based on Rotten Tomatoes audience rating 😅
