Received Email from sky@ notifications.contact.sky purporting to be from SKY Store thanking us for our order saying that our choice of The Last Kingdom series 1-4 was now available following a Buy and K eep Order for £19;99.

We haven't made any order at all.

Is this a scam email ?

Best suggestion I can make here is to livechat the Skystore team in the morning 

My usual assumption is that any unexpected email is a fraud - but best to check in case the email is genuine and your Skystore account has been accessed by someone

Is there anything in the purchases section of your Sky box for this series and if not does the email want you to click a link in it to go to "your purchase" ?

Hello and good morning.

If I ever receive an email claiming to be from a company, I make sure I don't click on any links within the email but instead log in on a web browser. You could do this with this and log in to Sky store and check your purchases tab like the other suggestions.

contact dot sky is a legitimate domain owned by Sky Group (registered to Sky International AG based in Zurich who look after Sky branding).  That doesn't mean the email actually came from Sky, though,

needless to say I didnt click the link but surely sky shopuld be answering these questions and not us.

Hi guys 

Its a 100% legitmate email address from Sky. I checked my email history when I was with them and they have previously used that email for collections and overpayments on my account. I noticed the same thing randomly when they owed me money and I can confirm its legit email address. 

#hatescammers and lets all help one another too defeat them
