Paid for film not downloading

I paid to watch a movie and it will not download

To offer some suggestions it would be useful to know a little more about the circumstances.  

Was it a rental or a buy and keep -and on what device?

 

A good general rule if it's a rental -  is to delete the partial download. Then go to your deleted recordings section and delete it again from there. 

Then try to start again with a fresh download.

If the same happens after doing what @mike+simmonds has suggested then try waiting until it has completely downloaded to see if it will then let you view it.
