Nectar film rewards - feeling conned!

Hi all, just decided to use some nectar rewards to rent a film for a £15.99 film to find I can only watch it on my iPad!  Apparently buy and keep films you can send to your sky box but not rentals - this was not made clear at all in anything I read.

This is the blurb ' watch your movies in Sky Store on your laptop, TV, mobile, etc ' 

It feels like a complete con to me . Why would I want to rent the latest blockbuster movie to watch it on a 6 inch screen? I will be ringing up to complain tomorrow

For those of us who use the store regularly- this is a well known problem - but I appreciate if you're not used to how things are set up - this is annoying 

Personally I use any vouchers I get to purchase "buy and keep" movies online. These can be sent to my Sky box (as you have discovered)

Rentals can not 

Even looking at rentals in general - it gets more complicated as normal rentals can at least be watched on a TV via Chromecast- but premiere rentals can't (unless things have changed very recently)

If by any chance you have a recent LG TV you should be able to view Premiere rentals on the built in Skystore app

Other than that - your best option would be a phone call or live chat with the Skystore team. Livechat opens at 11am

To save you looking - it does say on the Sky website about what you can and can't do with rentals - but you have to dig quite deep in to the terms and conditions to establish that.

Sadly you are just one of many many people who have come unstuck with this that have posted on here over the years about it as it isn't obvious from reading around that this isn't possible to do. Hopefully Sky will credit this back to you once you get in touch with them and if you do I would give some thought to spending the £15.99 on a Buy and Keep title instead.
