Movies to rent charges

Why do some to rent movies on Sky Store cost £15.99??

Because they are being released to services since they can't be released into Cinemas, these are not the normal films on tbe store. Normally you would on,y be able to these films at the cinema, these prices are standardised across all service eg iTunes, virgin etc

Tickets to the cinema are roughly £5-7 not £15.99 though

£5-£7 per person of course @cintv 

 

I don't think anyone is saying £15.99 is a bargain - it's just the price the distributors have set - and I guess we either pay it or not

 

I went for Wonder Woman 84 a while ago and - sort of - it was ok value when I compare it to 2 tickets and 2 train journeys to get there (and 2 drinks 😅

Whilst I understand @Moanne that it sounds a lot- I think that for very recently released  movies its a halfway option between spending £30 for 2 at the cinema - and waiting 8 months for a £3.99 rental 🤔

£30 for 2 people to go to the cinema??? Not where I stay...£6.50 so 2 people £13 My choice but I will not be renting any movie
