Leaving sky do I lose films ?

I'm leaving sky and I do I know I can access my films i have brought via the sky store app, I left sky a number of years ago and lost every film I had purchased because the customer service told me, now this is the confusing part for me either I have to archive every film or unarchive them can someone tell me which this is or even if it is applicable now Thankyou

You will not be able to access them in your Sky+ or Sky Q box, specially the later as you do have to return it to Sky.

You will be able to access them on other devices like phones, tablets, computers and if you have a LG TV you can use the inbuilt Sky Store app. If you have Chromecast from Google then you can use this to steam them to your TV.

Re: Leaving sky do I lose films ?

@caesarome Thankyou for your response but you have just stated what i have already put...I know I can access them via sky store app and I know I can't access them through the Q box I don't have it anymore the question, the query was i was told the last time I left sky a long time ago that I couldn't access my films I had brought  because they were archived or they were unarchived can't remember which and that's my query does this matter anymore or I'll have access regardless of the placement of the films on my Q box ...do I need to unarchive all my films before the box gets sent off ???

I'm not sure about the archiving but what I do know if that you will need to contact Sky Store support to ask them to change your account from a Sky one to a Sky Store only account, so before doing this I guess there is no harm in unarchiving them.

Re: Leaving sky do I lose films ?

Continued access depends on how they were purchased.

Bought online you'll have access to them, but if they were bought via a Sky box they will require transfer to Sky Store online access.
