Is this fair Sky Store releasing movies

Is this fair Sky Store releasing movies With no bonus features.You can pre-order or buy on the day of release.Then a few days after release you get one with bonus features.This is happening more and more this is not fair at all and it's the same price.

I've noticed this a few times recently @Totalwar2 and I agree with you 

I do plan to stop pre ordering movies - or at least wait till a day or two before the release date to see what versions are available. 

I struggle to imagine anyone wanting the version without bonus features when it's akways the same price.

If you don't mind me asking @mike+simmonds why do you pre-order and not just purchase of the day of release, are they cheaper this way ?

The reason I ask as it isn't always clear with these pre-orders when they are going to be available for the customer to download as I have lost count the numbers of times someone has said that the film isn't available even later in the day.

I pre-order too lol.But they doing when new to buy a few days later they release a version with bonus features.

I don't buy many buy and keep @caesarome maybe 6/7 a year -but I always order with the blurays and found that by preordering the Bluray from Sky was arriving 2/3 days before the official release date 

So that got me in to a bit of a habit 

More recently the Blurays have been quite late in being posted - so getting rid of any pre-order "advantage"

and as @Totalwar2 noticed - the regular edition / bonus edition issue is also now present

With this issue and some of the pre-orders that are not available straight away I am surprised that more people don't bother pre-ordering anymore.

Yes @caesarome 

certainly I can't see any advantage of preordering any more. I've found Blurays are around 3-4 days later than advertised and I share your observation that some newly released movies seem to not be available on the "day of release"  (Scream 2022 comes to mind)

Also I don't recall ever seeing a preorder price being cheaper
