I bought a movie in the sale that was on last summer & I bought a movie but unbeknownst to me it didn't download or appear in my purchases. Sky Store are taking care of things but I was wondering if this,has ever happened to anyone else that has bought a movie from Sky Store

Well I purchased 8 Mile in the sale on 31st July 23 & fancied watching it a couple of weeks ago as it wouldn't download into my purchases section on Sky Q box.
Here is the strange thing I looked for the movie in my purchases & it had gone & when I saw it in the sky store they wanted £7:99 & I bought it for £2:99.
I looked in my sky store app on my phone & it's there in my purchases & I was able to download it but no where to be seen on my Q box. Well I called the Sky Store & thankfully I was able to download it properly without having to pat the higher fee.
Another thing for everyone to remember is Sky Store opens as 11am & closes 19:30 & they're closed on a Sunday.
Anyhow. Panic over & it's all sorted & I have the movie.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreUsually the way to get it to your Sky Q box is to select the film on your phone via the Sky Store as there should be an option to send it to your box.

Yes I was able to download it to my phone via the sky store app however it wouldn't go to purchases section at all.
So the lesson is if you've bought it once & it disappears it's best to just get it again & you will not be charged a 2nd time as the system already knows you have a licence to watch that movie .
