I ordered inidian jones on sat 24th December for £4.99 which was a 7 day rental but it disappeared

Although with rentals you have 7 days to start viewing - once you press play for the first time - even for a second - you only then have 48 hours to finish watching.

regular renters know how this works but it does often catch people out. What I suggest is that you try a livechat with the Skystore team - explain what has happened and ask if they can offer you some goodwill.

The wording in the terms and conditions is this 

"The timeframes in which you may watch Content you have rented may be limited to certain 'access periods'. For example, in the case of Content rented from the Service, once you start watching the rental Content, you must normally finish watching it within 48 hours."

personally - I think it should be made a lot clearer on the main rental screens.
