I have been charged for a movie that I could not download

My daughter rented out a movie DON'T WORRY DARLING She never got to watch it as it would not download... said she needed something else to be able to download. I presumed when I wasn't charged for it in the month it happened that was the reason why but now I see it is on my Bill for lhis month sohow do i get this charge cancell;ed

Morning @ohsorose 

 

There's a couple of things here which may have caused a charge 

 

If you rented online - you get charged automatically whether or not you downloaded it or view any of the movie. 

if you rented on a Sky box - you should only have been charged if you watch (even 1 second of) the movie 

 

So you may be asking for some goodwill from the Skystore team - or you may be asking them to correct an incorrect charge - depending on the circumstances 

 

The live chat opens at 11am. I find a good idea is to log on at about 10.55am and get in the queue

Thanks for that, yes i feel i will be depending on Skystore goodwill!!

 

She couldnt download the movie at all.  fingers crossed they will believe me.

Yes, the sky team were understanding and accepted what i said. 

Their advice if this happens again is to call them when it happens so they can resolve the issue so movie can be downloaded.
