Find out moreIf you have rented the film on the Sky Store app then you can't watch it via your Sky Q box I'm afraid as rented films can only be viewed on the device they were rented on. It is different with Buy and Keep as you can view these on youyr Sky Q box should you have purchased these elsewhere.

My experience is if you have rented on one device (not your Sky box) you can view on a different device (again - not your Sky box )
This does mean that if you have a Chromecast you should be able to cast it to your TV (unless it's a premiere rental ) or if you happen to have an LG TV you can view it on your TV using the built in Skystore app
