Purchased a film last night,won't download as saying there's a technical issues,please try later.Have been trying since last night

If you have recently cancelled an HD package, the box might still be trying to download the HD version of the film. To fix it follow these steps
Press Home>Click Setting>Click Setup>Click preferences>Change "On Demand Default Download Format" from HD to SD (Standard Definition).
Once you have done that try redownloading the film and it should work

That doesn't apply to Sky Store films as you do not have to have the HD package on your account before being able to purchase or rent HD content.
